A gang paddled Killarney in the fall to see the colours. It was a wild experience. I have been there a few times before, but this was a terrific trip.
Did I mention it snowed on this trip? It was chilly at times. The colours were amazing. Fall is so enjoyable when the trees display great reds, yellows and oranges. ![]() Look at this one. The red canoe had enough snow that I could write the date in it. I think I was wearing all my clothes for this picture. ![]() Here's Dave. You will see him on one other canoe trip posted to my site. He started solo paddling in Killarney and really refined it on our trip in 2007 when we went fishing at Naiscoot. ![]() This image is a bit hazy, not sure why. Dave and I are in a boat, the La Cloche are in the background. Could there be a nicer place? ![]() Our fearless leader Gord. He is also my dad. ![]() Time for another look at the La Cloche. ![]() What an interesting carnivorous plant - the Pitcher Plant. They are found in this area, usually on floating bogs. ![]() What a view! ![]() More snow images. ![]() ![]() Time for a couple of me (Stephen). ![]() ![]() And last of all - the trees! |
